Nolan’s Developmental Learning Preschool program (DLP) is designed for preschool-age students living within 37377 with comprehensive eligibilities (i.e. Developmental Delay, Autism, Other Health Impaired, Orthopedically Impaired, and/or Multi-disabilities). Students eligible as solely Speech and/or Language Impairments do not meet the criteria for enrollment into the DLP classroom. Signal Mountain families of 3 and 4 year olds who feel their child may qualify for Nolan DLP are encouraged to reach out to the PALS center (423-498-7200) to request assessments. If your child meets eligibility criteria, DLP enrollment is facilitated by Dr. Mary-Margaret Satterfield, Exceptional Education Preschool Coordinator, 423-498-7124 ext 20109 or [email protected].
In this program we build the foundation for kindergarten by focusing on phonemic awareness, one-to-one correspondence, social skills, developing our language skills, group dynamics, and following directions and rules the Nolan way!
