First Day of School Info
Posted on 08/07/2018

Good Evening Nolan Families,

We are so excited about school starting tomorrow. We have a few reminders so the first day runs smoothly.

Nolan's front doors open at 8:20 a.m. when teachers go on duty. K-2 students will wait in the gym and 3-5 students wait in the cafeteria until teachers dismiss them to class.

Please remember that during the first three weeks of school, buses can run late or early. Usually by Labor Day, the buses are settled in their routes. It is a good idea to be at the bus stops early for the month of August.

Your student might have a new pin number for lunch. Teachers will give those to students on the first day of school.

We invite you to join your teacher for a parent meeting that will happen within the first month of school.

Thursday, August 9 3rd Grade Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Monday, August 13 2nd Grade Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Thursday, August 16  “New to Nolan” Parent Meeting Hosted by PTA New Kindergarten Families and Newcomers 9-10 am or  6-7 p.m.

Monday, August 20 5th Grade Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Tuesday, August 21 1st Grade Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Thursday, August 23 4th Grade Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Monday, August 27 Kindergarten Parent Meeting 6 – 7 p.m.

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I am blown away by this dynamic staff and their passion to make a positive difference in the lives of children!

I am excited to start the journey with you!
