Good Evening Nolan Families - We wanted to take a few moments to share some information related to the end of the school year.  As a reminder, buses will run on Thursday, May 24 and this is a full day of school for students.  Report cards will go home with students that afternoon unless a student has any outstanding charges such as SACC childcare charges, lunch charges, library book charges, etc.  Buses will not run on Friday, May 25 for students to pick up any report cards that cannot be sent home on Thursday.  To receive any held report cards, parents can come to the office on Friday, May 25between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30 to pay any charges and receive report cards.  SACC childcare will begin operating on their summer full-day schedule on Friday, May 25 as well with this year's summer childcare taking place at Thrasher.  As a reminder, students must be registered for summer childcare or you can contact our childcare site director, Lisa Wofford, for additional information and to be placed on the waitlist.  In closing, we want to remind all of our families that you should have received an informational letter and individual student SNAP Code that you will use to pre-register your students for the 2018-2019 school year.  Parents of students returning to Nolan will follow the directions provided in the letter to pre-register online beginning on July 11.  As part of the registration process, parents will be required to upload two current proofs of residency in the Nolan zone which can include a mortgage bill, lease documentation, utility bills, or other approved residency documents.  Once your application and proofs of residency are submitted, they will be reviewed and parents can expect to receive an email or phone call if we need any additional information to complete your registration.  Please note that students will not be placed on a classroom roster until all online registration requirements are complete.  If for some reason you did not receive your informational letter and student SNAP Code, please contact the office for assistance.  In addition, if your family is moving and you will not be returning to Nolan next year, please be sure to let your child's teacher know or contact the office as this information is helpful as we plan for staffing.  As always, we want to thank  all of our families for supporting our teachers and our school throughout the year.  The partnership we have as a school family really makes a difference in the educational experiences and outcomes for our children.  Thanks so much for a great year at Nolan, and we hope everyone has a great summer break!
