On behalf of the Nurse's office, we wanted to take a moment to share some reminders regarding student medications at school.

Per district policy, a written permission form for both prescription and over-the-counter medications must be completed and signed by both the parents and the child's licensed healthcare provider.

Please note that these forms are available through the Nurse's office and are also posted here on the website.

Once the permission form is received, medications must be brought to the nurse by a parent or guardian, and must be in the original bottle and labeled with the student's name.

No medication is to be taken to or from school by students.

Once at school, only prescribed emergency medications may be in the student's possession under the supervision of the teacher.

Thank you in advance for continuing to be mindful of these policies and procedures, and please contact our office should you have any questions: 423-886-0898.
